Frequently Asked Questions
Find instant answers to common questions about PickLab.
Is PickLab completely free to use on monetized streams?▼
Yes! You have full rights to broadcast PickLab on Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, TikTok, or podcasts without paying any royalties or license fees. You can use our dedicated /obs overlay mode for transparent chromakey integration.
How does PickLab ensure true randomness without server lag?▼
Instead of sending requests to a slow remote server, PickLab taps into your device's native Web Cryptography API (crypto.getRandomValues). This captures real-time hardware entropy on your device, providing instantaneous 0ms results with uncompromised fairness.
Does PickLab store my custom lists or student names?▼
Never. PickLab runs 100% in your local browser session. Any lists you save are stored in your browser's private localStorage and are never sent over the internet.
How can I suggest a new randomizer tool or feature?▼
Use the contact form below or email us at feedback@getpicklab.com! Our engineering team reads every submission and frequently ships community-requested tools.
